Program / Event Details

Students use improvisation and story-building techniques to create an original script and then produce a play. Depending on how the much school-based support is available, we may be able to not just design but create sets, costumes, lighting and sound effects. Lots of opportunities for students with every strength and competency, including performing, writing, directing, focusing lights, stage managing, graphic design, writing music and more. ELA (writing), Science of Light and Sound, Social Studies (dramaturgy), and Math (angles, time calculations, proportions & ratios, measurements) are all included. This culminates in a series of performances at the school that doubles as a fund raiser for the school to invest in anything it needs!
