Whitney Frazier is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, arts administrator and activist living in Baltimore City, MD. She completed her MFA in Community Arts at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2013.Since relocating to Baltimore 2002, Frazier has developed her community arts practice in neighborhoods throughout Baltimore City. Currently, Frazier is completing a series of meditative paintings in her studio, teaching courses atMICA, raising her daughter and advocating for arts in Baltimore schools in her role at local non-profit, Arts Every Day. Her most recent community based project is in neighborhood called Darley Park in East Baltimore. Frazier facilitates design workshops with residents who want to activate two adopt-a-lots with murals, outdoor amphitheater, play elements and other visual attractions.
