The Lyric Open House K-12 Theatre and Dance Programs

JOIN US! Theater and Dance Education Open House

Hello Principals and Educators!!

In the FY23 School Budget Guidance, the district has authorized schools to spend Concentration of Poverty Funds to expand Fine Arts Offerings (pg 35). If your school is eligible for Concentration of Poverty Funds, you have up to $200/student to spend on Fine Arts!

We are here to help you utilize this funding and connect you with immersive dance and theater performances, residencies, workshops, and classes designed to benefit your students! Please join us on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 3-5 pm at The Lyric Baltimore to connect with Theater and Dance organizations and artists and learn more about the in-school and out-of-school programs they have to offer. Arts Partners will be prepared to discuss fees, recruitment strategies, and space needs.

Plus, if you attend in person, you’ll have the chance to win a pair of tickets to the Saturday, April 23rd Chris Rock performance at the Lyric, Chris Rock Ego Death World Tour 2022 – The Lyric (lyricbaltimore.com)

Please RSVP by March 28th at https://openhouseatthelyric.eventbrite.com

If you have any questions please email Sheena Morrison at sheena@artseveryday.org or Denise Gantt at dgantt@mdlyric.org. Lite refreshments will be served.
